Driving on Corn

Just over two years ago, GM began its green campaign promising new levels of fuel efficiency through a variety of new technologies. This transition would start with “flex-fuel” vehicles (FFVs) designed to run on E-85, a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. E85, as the first wide-scale renewable bio-fuel, offered the promise of immediate reductions in petroleum consumption and emissions.
